Sweet Street Car & Truck Show Coming!!


Providence Ministries will hold the 3rd Annual Car and Truck Show on May 29th, at the Fair Grounds in Dalton, Ga. This is a fundraiser to support the homeless shelters, boys homes, alcohol and drug recovery programs, community kitchen, and women's shelter. There will be Sponsors' Awards, Door Prizes and Dash Plaques. Prices are as follows: General admission 5 (age 12 and under free). Show Vehicle 20; Car Corral 15, Outdoor Swap Meet 20 (20X20). Add 5 to the above fees after May 15th, 2010. Registration is from 9am-1pm and Awards will begin at 3:00. Louisa Branscomb Live In Concert This Saturday!


Songwriter Louisa Branscomb will showcase original songs in a fanfare of great Georgia artists singing her songs. Appearing with Louisa: Frances Mooney (Fontanna Sunset), 2009 IBMA Daughters of Bluegrass and 2010 SPBGMA nominee Female Vocalist of the yearJane Baxter- well-known Georgia bassist Jane Baxter who has recently ended a two year national touring stint with The Gary Waldrep Band. One of the most sought after session musicians in Georgia and surrounding statesKathy Reed -Kathy Reed is a native of Georgia and has deep roots in East Tennessee. She is a member of the popular Atlanta-based acoustic trio, Lonesome Redwing, and is a singer, songwriter, and plays bass and guitar.
