Woodsongs Coffeehouse a Great Success

The Woodsongs Coffeehouse Benefit Concert Series was a great success! We raised $1500 for the Providence Women's Shelter, to be built here in Dalton! There is currently no shelter for women and children in Dalton, so this is a very serious need in our community. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this very special cause! .... not to mention all the amazing artists we were fortunate enough to enjoy each month!!

Dalton Spirit Walks

Join us in West Hill Cemetary in Dalton on June 25th and 26th for the Dalton Spirit Walks! Along your stroll, you will encounter several famous former Daltonians who have been laid to rest in West Hill Cemetary. Famous train robber, Walt Bohannon will even be there!! 9th Congressional District Special Election Runoff

There will be a 9th Congressional District Special Election Runoff between Tom Graves and Lee Hawkins on June 8th. Early voting will run from May 20th to June 4th. DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!!!

When: May 8, 2010 and every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month through September 25th. The market will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
